I'm trying to determine which glue is best for adhering wool to plastic (urethane plastic painted with acrylic paints, specifically), and cures transparent and waterproof. Basically, I've been playing around with flocking cast resin with wool, but I'd like to find a glue with a longer pot life that doesn't give me a headache. I've been mostly using silicone caulking, since it cures clear and waterproof, and the only thing it releases during curing is acetic acid so it's fairly safe with ventilation and doesn't give me a headache. Here's an example of what I'm using it for.
So far I've tried:
Silicone I caulk of all things, and it actually works. The downside is it cures too fast in this humid environment.
E6000 works but gives me a headache no matter how much ventilation there is. I hate the smell.
Fixit Paste also works, but cures opaque. Coloring it with paint doesn't work well because the paint dries before I'm done, causing the paste to be gloppy.
PVA glues like Mod Podge and Paverpol don't stick to plastic well enough, and soak through the wool anyway.
Fabri-Tac works but cures even faster than silicone I.
Anybody have other suggestions?

Submissions
Just a friendly reminder that per group rules it's one submission per creation. I'm often pretty busy these days so I zip through approving things and if there are multiples of one doll I select what I feel is the best photo that shows it off, just so there are no hurt feelings about declined submissions. =) One deviation with multiple photos on it is perfectly fine! Happy new years all! =)
Expired Submissions (AGAIN)
I'm very sorry guys, I've been dealing with the holidays and family and health stuff but I am back! I hope everyone had a wonderful winter holiday of choice. =) <3

I use something called "Jewel-it"; it's made for applying stuff like rhinestones and other embellishment to your clothes to make them more 90s. It's a lot more affordable than fabri-tac and I think it smells far better. In a dry, kinda cold environment, it takes about 24 hours to be fully dry and about a week to be ready for washing. It goes on opaque, but it dries clear and it doesn't really bubble up or leave much of a residue, but you do not want to get it on the top of the wool by accident; it's a nightmare to clean out of things with long fibers (if you get it on top of fur, it clumps horribly). I use it to attach faux fur to sculpey and wire, and it holds great, though I should mention that I use two applications of it out of paranoia.
